The NOMAD Laboratory (https://nomad-lab.eu) is a community-effort web-based platform for the FAIR sharing and utilization of materials-science data. It offers cutting-edge tools for collecting, storing, presenting, and analyzing these data.

In the second tutorial on December 1-2, Lauri Himanen will address:

-- Introduction to the NOMAD Encyclopedia – the materials-oriented view on computed data
-- From calculations to materials: How to identify a specific material in the heterogenous data pool of the computational materials-science ecosystem? Solutions for boosting interoperability.
-- The NOMAD Encyclopedia GUI: A guide for exploring materials and their various properties on your browser
-- The NOMAD Encylopedia API – an advanced programmatic approach to materials exploration

The tutorial series as a whole covers all important aspects and services of the NOMAD Laboratory and teaches participants how to use them efficiently. The tutorials are designed as interactive online seminars with introductory videos, hands-on exercises, and live Q&A zoom sessions with the NOMAD developers. We consider all time zones of this planet.
